1. Reporting Copyright Infringement

If you believe that material available on Storytellers.Network infringes your copyright, you (or your authorized agent) may submit a written notice of claimed infringement to our designated DMCA Agent.

To be valid, your notice must include the following information (as required by 17 U.S.C. §512(c)(3)):

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.

  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or if multiple works are covered, a representative list.

  3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material (URL or direct link).

  4. Your contact information, including name, address, phone number, and email address.

  5. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.

  6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

3. Counter-Notification

If you believe your material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notification to our DMCA Agent. A valid counter-notification must include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.

  2. Identification of the material that was removed or access to which was disabled, and the location where the material appeared before removal.

  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.

  4. Your name, address, phone number, and email address.

  5. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which you reside (if in the U.S.), or if outside the U.S., that you consent to jurisdiction in any district where Storytellers.Network may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original DMCA notice or their agent.

Once we receive a valid counter-notification, we may restore the removed content unless the original complainant files a court action seeking to restrain you from engaging in infringing activity.

4. Repeat Infringer Policy

Storytellers.Network may, in appropriate circumstances, terminate user accounts that are found to be repeat infringers. A “repeat infringer” is any user who has been the subject of multiple valid DMCA notices.

5. Misuse of DMCA Process

Please note that under 17 U.S.C. §512(f), any person who knowingly misrepresents material or activity as infringing may be subject to liability for damages, including costs and attorney’s fees.
